The team and its mission
The Hochficht ski resort is a first-class choice for families and beginners and is also Austria's largest winter sports destination outside the Alps. It has been offering skiing fun in the picturesque Bohemian Forest vacation region in the border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic since 1958. In addition to first-class skiing fun in winter, Hochficht offers a wide range of activities in summer, including two kids' parks, a fun park, a funslope and much more. As a member of the skisport.com network, it offers the best conditions for families. But that's only part of what the Mühlviertel has to offer, from winter hiking to very special mountain adventures. In summer, hikes and mountain bike tours are inviting, and a number of restaurants are open. A visit is therefore not only worthwhile in winter, but also in summer to enjoy the region to the full.

The Hochficht is clearly a family ski resort - and a member of the skisport.com network to boot. But that's by no means all that awaits winter holidaymakers in the Mühlviertel. Winter hiking, cross-country skiing or very special experiences on the mountain: look forward to a region that enchants! In summer, the main activity is hiking or mountain biking. A few of the restaurants are also open. So it's worth spending not only the cold season, but also the mountain summer on the Hochficht - and enjoying it to the full.
