Off to the race track

Two race tracks for unbridled skiing fun

3, 2, 1 & GO!

A clear slope, sharp turns and just one goal: to be the fastest. That's skiing like in the World Cup - and in the Hochficht ski area you have the opportunity to do this on two runs in particular. Either on the European Cup-proven FIS standard downhill run or the Zwieselberg downhill run.

In the Mühlviertel, you can get up close to professional sport and put your skiing skills to the test!

FIS standard downhill run

Two kilometers of high speed - the Zwiesel downhill of the FIS course on the Hochficht separates the wheat from the chaff in the European Cup. Will a tricky slalom or giant slalom push you to your limits? Hang in there, master the challenging piste and fight for every tenth of a second to win. Burning calves and a large portion of pride included.

Good to know: The standard descent runs directly to the valley station of the Hochfichtbahn, covering a total of 404 vertical meters.

The steepest slope on the Hochficht

Zwieselberg descent

The Zwieselberg downhill run is the steepest FIS run in the Hochficht ski area. Even experienced skiers will work up a sweat. You too? But if you conquer it, you can join the elite of fearless ski racers. Not everyone has the courage to plunge down here. Will you accept the challenge?

By the way: the red section of the Stierwiesen run is particularly suitable for club and company championships.
